As World Hydrogen Leaders Faculty, I deliver on-line training on the Investment Case for Hydrogen and Project Development Best Practices in Hydrogen.  I am passionate about decarbonisation through choosing the right projects and doing the projects right.  This requires a laser focus on value which project teams would do well to understand. Ulrika has a deep understanding of the energy value chain and the energy transition, having helped companies transition from Oil & Gas to New Energies, across renewables, electric vehicle charging, carbon capture and storage, batteries and hydrogen. She is a frequently requested speaker at international conferences, based on her deep understanding of the industry and energy markets. At Macquarie, Ulrika built a solar business, leading the origination, development, construction and operations, after having started by investing in large scale batteries. At Shell, she helped develop the strategy for the Renewables & Energy Solutions business, managing and influencing internal stakeholders, before supporting the international growth of the business where she also led innovation across B2B and B2C. She was also a member of the investment committee investing over 5B$ in energy transition businesses in 2022. In her current role, she is part of the Executive Committee at Vallourec and responsible for growing their New Energies business globally. Under Ulrika’s leadership, Vallourec has developed a hydrogen storage technology that is now being scaled up.
