PMI UK London: Coaching skills every Project Manager needs (Even if you’re not a Coach). 16th September 2026
Project Managers can often spend more time managing people than plans, yet few are trained in the interpersonal skills that make a big difference: active listening, asking powerful questions and providing constructive feedback. This session draws on core coaching methodology and translates it into practical approaches Project Managers can use immediately: in stakeholder meetings, status updates, and difficult conversations to build even stronger project teams and stakeholder relationships. This session is particularly relevant for PMs who lead without being the loudest voice in the room and want their influence to come from substance rather than volume.
OPC Community Day 2026. 23rd September 2026
Oracle Primavera Cloud Community Day returns to Oracle’s Moorgate offices (1 South Place, London EC2M 2RB) this September, bringing together OPC users, project professionals and subject matter experts to share practical experiences, lessons learned and ideas for continuous improvement.
The event is accredited for 6 PDUs, which eligible attendees can claim following the event.Hosted by Hyde Park Solutions and Oracle, the event will explore how organisations are using OPC across planning, scheduling, portfolio management, risk and project intelligence.
Sessions announced so far include:
- STACK Infrastructure sharing its journey from Primavera P6 to OPC
- Port of Dover discussing its implementation and integration of OPC with Oracle Fusion
- EHAB and Oracle exploring how weather risk data can inform schedule and cost decisions
- Oracle demonstrating how Construction and Engineering Intelligence (CEI) can turn OPC data into clearer, more actionable insight.
The Community Day is not just for existing OPC users. If you work with Primavera P6, Asta PP/Microsoft Project/Excel or other project management tools, the event provides a useful opportunity to see how organisations are moving towards more connected, digital project and portfolio management environments. Where they discuss the challenges, they have faced, the benefits they are seeing and the lessons learned along the way.
Networking is also a key part of the day, with dedicated time for attendees to connect with peers, hear how other organisations are approaching similar challenges and speak directly with Oracle and industry subject matter experts. This is one of the most valuable parts of the Community Day, providing an informal environment to ask questions, exchange ideas and build connections across the wider project community.
