In this Presentation, I will talk about how project managers can drive meaningful change beyond business outcomes. The session will take a case study-driven approach, illustrating how project management principles—strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and adaptive execution—were applied in a project to navigate complexity and deliver measurable impact. The project delivered transformative change by improving the lives and livelihood of 1 million women in India. Starting with the background of the case study, I’ll move into the approach and the outcome. Then I’ll zoom into one of the pilots delivered.. which was to train and employ women in a steel welding factory. This was a success story as it broke barriers and most importantly empowered girls and made them financially independent.
