June 2026 | SuSu 2026: Artificial Intelligence as a Driver of Corporate Sustainability with Gabriele Bitine
This presentation builds on Gabriele’s recent research, in which she surveyed 106 participants from Fortune 500 industrial and other firms to examine how the implementation of AI technologies affects sustainability metrics and engagement. It demonstrates a positive and significant relationship between AI adoption and strategic sustainability outcomes. The findings suggest that, while AI enhances sustainability engagement at the strategic level, its operational impact remains limited—largely due to energy use and resource constraints. These results offer actionable insights for project and portfolio leaders seeking to align digital transformation initiatives with ESG and SDG objectives. The topic aligns with AI, Data & Sustainable Systems theme and delivers practical, data driven lessons participants can apply in real projects.
Understand AI’s dual impact on sustainability. Gain insights for ESG/ SDG-aligned projects. Learn to balance AI benefits with constraints.
