Electing the President
Candidates for President
The President provides the Chapter’s strategic leadership, oversees the Board, represents the Chapter externally and plays a central role in ensuring that the Board works effectively and collectively in the interests of the membership.
When considering the candidates for President, members are encouraged to look at their leadership and governance experience, knowledge and understanding of the Chapter, record of contribution to PMI and its members, ability to lead and work effectively with others, sound judgement, and the vision and priorities they propose for the Chapter’s future.

Electing the Directors
Candidates for Director
Director candidates are standing for election to the Board, not to a specific portfolio.
The Board’s portfolios cover areas such as finance, operations, branches, membership, volunteers, professional development, communications and technology. Candidates may have indicated areas in which they would prefer to serve, but portfolios will be allocated after the election by the newly elected President and the newly constituted Board, considering each elected Director’s experience, skills and interests alongside the Chapter’s operational needs.
When voting for Directors, please consider each candidate’s overall experience, skills and proposed contribution to the Chapter. Your vote elects them to the Board; it does not assign them to a particular portfolio.
