What an incredible day! On 25 June 2026, Sustainability Summit 2026: The Evergreen Project Manager brought together project professionals, sustainability practitioners, volunteers, researchers, and thought leaders from across our global community for a day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration. And what a response we received.
1. SuSu26 briefly: Sustainability is not someone else’s responsibility
The Summit drew 550 registrations and 421 active participants across 20 sessions during a 10-hour virtual program, delivered with support from 24 core volunteers.
Across the day, our speakers explored sustainability through many different lenses — from governance and leadership to AI, social value, facilities management, logistics, community development, change management, knowledge management, and sustainable project delivery.
Sustainability is not someone else’s responsibility! It is not simply a separate workstream, a compliance exercise or another box to tick. It is something each of us can influence through the decisions we make every day as project professionals. One of our strongest takeaways from SuSu26 is that sustainability is a mindset — it starts with you, it starts with me, and it starts with every one of us.
2. Our speakers
Our sincere thanks go to all our speakers and session hosts, who generously shared their expertise, experience, and insights with our community across 20 sessions covering every angle of sustainable project management.

3. Our Volunteers
An event like this does not happen without people. We are equally grateful to our 24 dedicated Sustainability Community of Action volunteers, who worked behind the scenes to bring SuSu26 to life. From program planning and speaker engagement to marketing, technology, hosting and event delivery, your passion, creativity, and commitment made the Summit possible.
Meet our Volunteers, including Session Hosts
Our thanks also extend to the wider PMI UK teams, PMI Global, PMI Chapters around the world, Green Project Management, our partners and supporters, and the London Climate Action Week community for their collaboration and support. To every person who contributed their time, expertise, and energy: thank you.
