About the Speaker
Tony Michaelides has an irrefutable reputation achieved over 40 plus years working with a stellar cast of clients that included Davie Bowie, The Police, U2, Bob Marley, Peter Gabriel, REM, Whitney Houston and music mogul Simon Cowell, to name a few. In that time he ran one of the most successful promotions companies in the UK, representing some of the world’s leading record labels, including Island, BMG, Warner Bros, EMI and Virgin. In 2004, he moved to the USA after being recognised as ‘An Alien of Extraordinary Ability’, a prestigious accolade awarded to a small percentage of people who ‘have reached the pinnacle of excellence in the field of endeavour’. Tony’s areas being that of music and the arts. A published author, TEDx Speaker and former member of The Brits Voting Academy, he has sat on and chaired various music panels, both here and abroad.
Today he hosts his own podcast, ‘Moments That Rock’, which is also the title of his latest book. Together with presenting his own radio show he is a Director of a PR company specialising in emerging talent.
As an inspirational speaker he shares what he has learned from working with some of the world’s leading artists, and the ingredients of greatness that he saw in those Rock Stars that can be applied to business. These lessons cover a variety of topics that include leadership, creating a culture in the workplace, the power of teamwork and the relentless pursuit for success to name a few.
