Sustainable action on climate change, biodiversity loss and regional-scale water management require 100s if not 1,000s of people to take sustainable actions. Not everyone wants to. And there are limits to what project managers can do to ‘make’ people take action.

Phil’s PRUB-Logic Strategy Framework and Vocabulary demonstrate that ‘only Uses create Benefits’. The stark implications are that in large-scale sustainability strategies, project managers cannot ‘realize Benefits’. Project managers can instead ‘Facilitate Benefits’.
