Anjana Wijegunasinghe is a transformative leader with over 25 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, risk management, and governance. She has a proven history of pushing boundaries and driving innovative changes in her field. Currently, she serves as the Head of Analytics & Tooling at Euroclear, where she empowers compliance teams with smarter data and digital solutions. Anjana excels in innovation, intrapreneurship, and team building, having successfully led initiatives that provide proactive risk insights and effective processes through data analytics and digital technologies. Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2006, Anjana also holds an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka, and has multiple certifications in AI, analytics, audit, and risk management. Outside of her professional role, Anjana is a passionate advocate and mentor for women’s empowerment, helping women develop technical skills for career growth and job enrichment. She is an active volunteer and currently serves as the Director of Media & Marketing for the UAE chapter of the Project Management Institute and an active member of UAE AI and Data Leaders community.
