The AGM 2024 is called to submit to you the following resolutions:

• Resolution 1:   Approval of PMI UK Chapter 2023 Accounts
• Resolution 2:  Considering that the election process was affected by a delay of almost one year, concluding with the appointment of Trustees on 26 September 2023, and the fact that the PMI Chapter financial year runs from 1^st January to 31 December, and that previously the terms of Chapter’s officers started from 1^st January, the membership resolves that the three (3) year term stated in the Articles of Association of the Trustees rightfully elected, will run until 31^st December 2026.

The subjects will include how Parmjit Kaur used Project Management to manage a challenging series of health events in her personal life, and how those Project Management skills eventually led to healing.

We are facing a triple tsunami of population growth, pollution and climate change which only Project Managers, collectively, have a chance of slowing down and reversing. In the presentation we will look to understand the task ahead and see what we can do, guided by the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. We will be inspired by the Project Leaders who have provided some clever solutions, and we will discuss the technological and social solutions we still need.

In this talk, Professor Yinshan Tang is going to introduce a new concept to replace “best” with optimal in project management and explore a novel approach for project management.

We will look at the benefits and challenges of leveraging AI for project success, as well as insights and examples from project professionals towards implementing AI in their strategies. By the end of the presentation, participants will understand the ways that AI can be used to maximise project performance and achieve greater efficiency.
