The Project Management is the management of the change.
What happens when the structure of an organization has to change to fit the strategy objectives set out by the Company’s Management?
Organizational structure is the formal design of managerial hierarchies within a company, setting forth both reporting relationships and information flows. A company's organizational structure forms the bases upon which operational policies are formed. Structure plays a large role in shaping organizational culture as well, and companies may find it necessary to change organizational structure to remain competitive or adapt to changes in the company, industry or marketplace.
The main obstacle is resistance to change. Managing resistance to change is challenging for many reasons. Resistance to change can be covert or overt, organized, or individual. Employees may realize they don't like or want a change and resist publicly, and that can be very disruptive. This presentation address effective ways to reach the goal.
