PMI London Event
Project Leadership in a Multicultural World
18th February 2019 at 5.45pm
University of Westminster, 35 Marylebone Road, London, NW1 5LS
Main Speaker: Omar Zein
The influence of culture on international business and management has long been acknowledged and extensively researched by experts in the field. Today, however, certain aspects arising from our modern times demand specific attention; that is, the specific cultural influences on project management practices (as opposing to practices within standard operations or business development); and, the added complexity brought about by the increasingly diverse working environments. This short seminar will explore the above and illustrate how cultural diversity can pose as much an opportunity as it can a threat, being largely dependent on the cultural awareness and leadership skills of the project manager and executives.
