Join the PMI UK Yorkshire and Humber Branch and Agile York at the Hiscox Offices, Peasholm Green for a fun and informative event on how to run better agile retrospectives. Many agile teams struggle to find ways to make retros work well and if this sounds familiar, then this event is for you.
The session will teach attendees how to carry out the most effective retros, regardless of the theme and learn how they can be used for multiple purposes, not just for teams at the end of sprints e.g. they can be used with stakeholders to solve problems, etc.
Our speaker, Becky Leggett will break retros down into small sections, and walk attendees through the process slowly (step-by-step) to give people time to really understand the purpose of a good retro and how to make them provide maximum benefits. Attendees will also learn a number of effective facilitation techniques to use. In addition, Becky will explain how attendees can analyse the actual outputs of retrospective and how to tailor them to fit any theme. For example, retrospectives can focus on good and bad things connected with a sprint or look at working more effectively with a particular team and how to improve overall performance.
By the end of the session, attendees will be able to take away a multi-purpose tool for use in their workplaces, understand how to run a good retro and can take away the outputs of that retrospective to continuously improve team performance.
It's sure to be a great event so book your ticket fast.
