Data Strategy for Project Management

25th February 2020 at 6 pm Mott McDonald, 9 Portland Street, Manchester

Data and analytics have climbed to the top of the corporate agenda. Together, they promise to deliver performance gains last seen in the 1990s when organizations redesigned their core processes. Increasingly, Project Managers too, are expected to embrace the use of analytics and several sophisticated tools and techniques to make data-driven business decisions. However, in order to fully reap the benefits of new age data-driven Project Management, we first need to sow the seeds; we must ensure that we collect, analyze and develop capabilities to use all the relevant information that is available. In short, we must have a good data strategy in place.

Absolutdata has been helping several Fortune 500 companies to set-up their data strategy and analytics infrastructure to deliver significant business benefits. During the session, Saikat will lay out the most important elements of a data strategy for Project Management, present his take (based on their experience so far) on how to overcome the initial roadblocks and share few handy tools for PMs to use in their organizations to develop their own data strategy.
